This year for Easter we went to Arizona to visit family (friends).  We drove and I am not too good in the truck for long periods of time so we decided to stay overnight at the half way point.  We booked a room in Page Arizona (5 hours into the trip).  It was perfect timing and it gave us some time to check out the Damn at Lake Powell.  It was really neat and I have not seen it since I was 17 when we toured it with the family and friends on one of our Lake Powell trips.

We took one day when the “Girls” went to the spa and the “Boys” went to the Air Museum.  They had alot of fun and got to see  the planes there that where in some of the wars.  They also went on a tour where they told the history of many of the planes.  Garrett fell asleep so I dont think that was his favorite part of the day.  In the spa I had a hot stone massage and it was heaven,  highly recomended!!!

So  about a year ago Gage came home from school with a lovely gift for me……THE CHICKEN POX!!!  At first he only had a few but soon after he was covered!   I was not happy at all because he had gotten the vaccine and should not have got them at all.   Maybe the gave him a shot that made him want to eat and grow instead of the chicken pox shot.  He was so miserable and I felt so bad for him, he thought he was pretty lucky because he was able to miss two weeks of school.   I just hope that Garrett NEVER gets them, they are not fun at all.  Here are a few pictures of him
